Practicing Mindfulness Together - Peace in a Frantic World
Life can be relentless, frantic and exhausting - but it doesn't have to be this way. This experiential workshop reveals a set of simple yet powerful practices that you can incorporate into daily life to help break the cycle of anxiety, stress, unhappiness and exhaustion. It helps promote a deeper kind of happiness that gets into the core of your bones.
This course is based in part on MBCT (Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy) and is offered in a briefer and lighter form. This briefer course is usually offered in an 8-week one-hourly format and here we will be exploring it in a 4-week two-hourly format.
Deeper Kind of Happiness
This experiential course reveals a set of simple yet powerful practices that you can incorporate into daily life to help break the cycle of stress, unhappiness, anxiety and exhaustion. It helps promote a deeper kind of happiness that gets into your bones.
Natural Kindness
In this course, there will be opportunities to practise working with difficulties through acceptance and kindness. As well it brings awareness to some of our habitual patterns, in turn allowing us to reclaim our lives.
4 Monday evenings - 2 hours each week (7 - 9 pm)

Many of the benefits reported have been based on the 8-weeks core program that allow for developing various aspects of mindfulness and for integrating mindfulness into our lives. This session introduces the history of some of these programs, how some of these programs work and research results. The introduction includes experiential practice within session.

This session is an experiential practice of being aware and how that my provide us with a healthier way of being and a sense of choice.

The breath is commonly used to help us anchor to the present and can be an indicator. The breath can at times be taken for-granted in this fast pace life. This session focuses on the breath and is an experiential practice session.

Bringing in Compassion

Upon becoming aware, we often discover aspects of living that we find difficult to accept or struggle with. Compassion though innate in each of us can get lost in the sea of life. This session is an introduction to re-connecting with that compassion.
